Own-rooted Wadenswil was planted in 1973 and own rooted Pommard, Chardonnay and Riesling were planted in 1979. The white wine vines were grafted to Dijon 115 in 1990, so now the vineyard is 100% Pinot Noir. For over 35 years the roots have grown deep into the Laurelwood soil. The old vines produce wines of great depth and character.
